Oh, my stars. Your imagery is exquisite here - the mossy bench, the halflings' desperate antics - but mostly the way you've conveyed Boromir's loneliness and grief, and his first tentative overtures toward Aragorn.

"Again." Boromir raised his head, a keen, unvoiced pain glittering in his eyes, "Please, sing it again." Oh, poor dear Boromir.
