Help! I've got cable!
It's been a while...a long while....since I've had TV, and I'm still not sure about it, but there was a special going with my internet at my new place. So I turn on the set, see Judge Judy, and immediately turn it off. Obviously some research is required
I remember liking things like Whose Line is it Anyway, original Iron Chef, um....music videos (does any channel still play those?), Star Trek (any generation), and travel/nature/science/history things....hmm...Myth Busters still around? I tend to despise soap operas and reality shows, especially ones that specialize in humiliation and rejection (I think that's all of them, unless things have changed).
In other words, I'm so far out of the loop, I don't even know what exists anymore. I need suggestions, recommendations, warnings...anything! What do you like? What do you hate? What's wacky, off the beaten path, etc? I think I have basic extended cable, so food network, etc. should be around, but not HBO (that still exists, too, right? If you think I'm kidding, I'm honestly not).
