Whoops!
I went poking back through this LJ and realized that I had forgotten to update with what's going on with my heraldry.
This Pennsic I released the arms that I had done last year (which I hated with the hate of a thousand burning hates), and submitted a rework of my original design.
So it has gone from Gules, three spiders argent
to Gules, a decrescent, an increscent, and a spider argent
to Gules, three spiders inverted, a bordure argent
It has passed through Eastern Letter of Decision and has to go through two more levels to pass officially but I do not expect any problems. I will probably draw the bordure considerably narrower in the interest of aesthetics.
I've also contacted Suzanne (our baronial herald) to try to clear up the omission of my AoA from the rolls.
