musical? missing nanowrimo?
February is coming up, and I'll be spending most of it here: http://fawm.org/. For anyone out there who's a songwriter, or who just likes hearing new stuff, FAWM is definitely worth checking out. Even if you're not a songwriter yourself, you're welcome to participate in the forums and comment on the songs. There's a lot of talent in the community and a lot of new music generated, and at the end a CD is produced with some of the month's best tracks. This will be the fourth year I've participated. Although I usually write only two or three songs I end up liking later, and I never perform them publicly, it's two or three more than I would write normally, and it's good to have a reason to keep up my music.
I'd say FAWM would account for my being quiet for the next month, but given the date of my last entry it'd be hard to be any quieter than I already am.
