Guys, I'm going to start with a story about my refrigerator. Trust me; it's relevant.
We bought a new refrigerator a few months ago and I can't even tell you how much I love this thing. It's kind of embarrassing. My husband actually makes fun of my affection for it. It's stainless steel, armoire style, which means the freezer is a drawer on the

Honestly, I think Sam would've let Dean kill him rather than kill Dean. It would've been a BUABS moment, I think - where Dean said 'I'd rather die.' I actually would rather have seen that play out than have Cas show up, but we can't have everything, I guess, and the rest of this was wonderful so...
Oh my god, that was such a HUGE twist, right? With Lester?? And ngl, Sam correcting his Latin was one of my fav bits of the episodes. Now BOTH boys have had their 'Are you really this lame, Lester?' moments, lol. I almost feel sorry for Lester...but then I remember he was a raging misogynist and I don't care so much, lol.
Honestly, I don't think the devil's trap thing makes sense. - there aren't degrees of being a demon, just like there aren't degrees of being human - I just think it was a convenient plot device to get Dean out of the trap. I think they should've just used the fact he's a knight of hell and had him break the floor, like so many demons have done before him. All of whom were less powerful than him, I think...since a knight of hell's a big deal, right? I'm just going to pretend that's what happened because canonically that makes more sense to me.
Oh, that was the new big bad?? Oh...um...okay...colour me not afraid or excited at all, lol. Maybe shouldn't have gone with a redhead. - would save any unwanted comparisons coz no one's gonna be as bad ass as Abaddon...
Oh, and lol about Crowley saving Cas...hehehe...why the fuck did that happen??? LMAO...

Yeah, but if they'd done that, I would have fallen down dead, so I'm kind of glad they didn't. Maybe. I don't know, it might have been worth it.

I think there ARE degrees of demon, because we know Azazel was powerful enough that he wasn't affected by holy water. But yeah, breaking the trap would have made a lot of sense.

But isn't that more about power than degrees of demon-ness? I mean, Azazel wasn't any more of a demon than Meg, he was just more powerful. Or do you think because he was a demon longer, he was more of a demon than she was, since most demons were once human? I've never really thought about it as degrees. For me, I've always thought there's just that moment when a person stops being a person anymore...it's actually kind of interesting to think about.
