On further review: 10.01 discussion, drabble, and other things
10.01 Drabble
The lovely kalliel challenged us to write a drabble for each episode of season 10. I don’t remember if she specified a word count, but I decided to limit myself to 100 words anyway:
(ETA... I guess she said coda, not drabble. But I'm making this my own personal challenge now: 100 words for each episode.)

He’s disappointed that Dean insists on taking the Impala. Confused. Troubled. It’s a piece of his old life. A connection to his brother. A symbol of everything that needs to be left behind.
“You know we don’t need this. Leave it for Moose.”
Dean scowls. “Last time I left it with Sam, he let a dog ride in it.”
Oh?
“Do tell,” Crowley purrs.
Dean does. He tells him about the dog, and the girl, and the year; but the real story isn’t in the actual words. It’s behind, between the words.
Crowley smiles, files it away for future use.

10.01 Discussion
According to the episode description on the Supernatural Wiki, when Sam finds out Drew Neely (Dead Guy in the Gas N Sip) was killed after having murdered his family and then vanishing for 3 years, he suspects the demon who possessed Drew has left that vessel and took Dean’s. But why would he come up with this theory? It was before he saw the surveillance video, before he knew Drew and Dean had any contact at all. And Dead Guy wasn’t killed until after Dean had already disappeared from the bunker. Your thoughts?
Also, dreamsofspike pointed out something I missed. When Sam and Cas were talking about Sam’s shoulder injury, I only caught part of Cas’s statement, where he said “you were.” He actually said “you were out of-“ before Sam cut him off. He must have been saying Sam was “out of control” or “out of your mind” or something along those lines, and surely, surely they’re going to give us a flashback to that. I need it. Maybe they had to wait until Jared was out of the sling before they could film some BAMF, out of control, out of his mind, Action Sam.
We neeeeeeeds it, my precious.
(Now watch it be "out of holy water” or something equally boring.)
Casting/character spoiler
I should know to stay away from IMDB, but there was a question on my last post about the guy who played Convenience Store Guy (Mickey), so I looked him up and it turns out he’s in TWO EPISODES. HE’S COMING BACK. \o/ \o/ One episode into the season and already a wish is coming true? This has to be a good sign! (This is the only thing I know about future episodes. Please do not spoil me further.)
Non spoilery Supernatural related stuff
I was reading a news story on Yahoo, and I don’t want to get into the details of the story but basically someone really stupid did something really stupid and an innocent person ended up dead. And this is the guy’s mugshot:
Yeah. Makes you proud to be a fan. :-/
On the other end of the spectrum, here are some ladies who do make me proud to be a Supernatural fan. This is a Dapper Day Disney Bound version of Team Free Will.
And if you don’t understand what any of that means (or even if you do, and want to see the back of their costumes, which you should), read this Epbot post. (BTW, Epbot is the site that also brought us that ridiculously awesome custom-made Crowley Pop Funko figure.
And finally, a very happy birthday to my friend themegalosaurus. This one’s for you, buddy!
