A/N: Excuse the lameness and failness, I'm trying to recover from a writer's depression. (Drabbles don't necessarily correspond with each other, but if you want it to then it'll make somewhat sense regardless.)
[Good Morning]
The morning light seeped through the poorly drawn pink curtains, ridding of any darkness in the bedroom. The light in particular shown harshly on the face of a drowsy Tiffany. Feeling the heat of the rising sun on her eye, the sleepy woman groaned quietly as she squinted her already closed eyes and then attempted to open them. Her vision in a haze, she stared at the beige ceiling until it cleared up. She felt the thick comforter on her chest, warm from collecting a night’s worth of body heat. As if by automatic instinct, she tried to sit up. However, her process was hindered when her body did not budge and rather, responded with a painful shocking feeling in her right arm. Grunting from the reeling pain, Tiffany turned her head to see what was holding her back. Then she remembered.
Her right arm was outstretched across the bed, and there beside her, a sleeping Jessica was peacefully snoozing, her head planted on her arm. She assumed that the pain was caused presumably because her arm had fallen asleep. Tiffany snorted through her nose at the sight. The other girl’s brown hair shielded her face and her mouth was slightly agape. She tried to bend a finger, but only recoiled at an electric shock coursing through her arm once more.
Tiffany heard the sleeping princess groan, feeling her body beginning to shift. She prayed that Jessica would get off her arm. (It would be cruel for her to forcibly remove her arm from her lover herself). However, a sharp tingle went down her spine when a pair of icy, cold feet wrapped around and pressed against her bare legs. She cursed under her breath, remembering the many times she told Jessica to wear some socks since she always stuck her feet out of the blankets, exposing them to the cold air during the night.
Tiffany merely sighed, returning her attention to the slumbering girl. She noticed the girl now adorned a slight smile, bringing a grin to her face as well. With all her effort, she leaned over and placed a brisk kiss onto Jessica’s forehead before returning to her original position. Yawning, she closed her eyes, feeling sleep returning as she succumbed to the immense yet comforting body heat.
[Tedious Task]
“Jessi, this doesn't look right.” Tiffany stated, staring at the abomination they constructed. Her arms akimbo, she sighed.
The two girls were surrounded by boxes, plastic wraps, and various tools. On a large box, it displayed a picture of a pink dresser. However, the object they had put together looked nothing like it.
“What are you talking about? It looks fine. I’m sure it works.”
Jessica maneuvered around the mess to the dresser. Grabbing a handle, she tried to open one of the drawers. However, it didn’t budge.
“See! It doesn't even work!” Tiffany groaned.
“Maybe if these instructions weren't in Swedish…” Jessica muttered, grabbing the instruction pamphlet from the ground. “The pictures don’t help either…”
“Take it apart.”
“What?”
“Take it apart.”
“But Tiff, we spent hours on this!”
“I’m ashamed this gross excuse of furniture even exists. Take it apart.”
“Maybe we should call a professional…”
“We’re never ordering anything from Ikea ever again.” Tiffany sighed, covering her eyes in defeat with her hands.
[Food Fight]
“Jessi.”
“Tiffany.”
“Your fork is in the cherry.”
“So it is.”
“My fork was here first.”
“So it was.”
“How about you let go?”
“How about no?”
“Jessi, there isn't any more ice cream left in the sundae, and the cherry is the only thing left, and I got it first, so I should have it.”
“But I want the cherry.”
“Jessi, we have a jar of them in the fridge if you want one so badly. I’m getting this one.”
“But I want this cherry.”
“…”
“…”
“…”
“Please?”
“Oh my god, fine.”
“Yay!”
“God, I’m living with a princess who leeches off her people.”
“Thank you, I’ll take that as a compliment.”
“Hate you.”
“Love you~”
[Work]
Tiffany sighed, hunching over the desk covered in papers. The room was dark except for a lone lamp lighting the desk. She tiredly pulled at the hair-tie that had been holding her hair in a bun, her hair now cascading down her shoulders. She lazily raked her fingers through her locks, tugged at the collar of her shirt, and then shifted in her seat, though not much movement was allowed in the skirt that hugged tightly to her body.
She had got back from work hours ago, but she didn’t bother changing out into more comfortable clothing, because her work gave her more work to do from home in which she secluded herself in the office, staring intently at the piles of papers she had arranged into completed and uncompleted.
Tiffany gave a loud, defeated sigh as she leaned back into the chair, stretching her arms into the air. She was surprised, however, when she felt an arm wrap around her neck. A mug was placed onto the desk, the dark brown liquid slightly sloshing as steam rose into the air. She felt a smile grow on her face. She reached her hand up until it made contact with what she assumed was the other girl’s cheek, gently caressing it.
“Thank you, baby.”
Tiffany felt the arm around her neck move, though the feeling was soon replaced with hands kneading gently on her shoulders, followed by weight on the crown of her head.
“Don’t stress yourself out, ok?” Jessica whispered into the thickness of hair, placing a light kiss afterwards.
Tiffany moaned graciously at the massage, feeling her eyelids become heavy with relaxation. With a slight chuckle, she stated,
“Jessi, I appreciate the thought, but you’re distracting me from work.”
Tiffany giggled when she felt the weight on her head disappear and the kneading motions stopped. She knew that Jessica was pouting. When she tilted her head back as far as she could, her belief was confirmed. However, she also noticed the girl was wearing a robe, noting that the girl’s hair wasn’t wet from a shower of any kind. Grabbing the soft fabric, she questioned,
“What’re you wearing this for?”
This time, it was Jessica’s turn to giggle, her face adorned with a smirk as the girl turned around and sauntered to the door. Before she closed the door behind her, she answered,
“It’s a surprise for when you go to bed.”
With a click!, Tiffany was left staring blankly at the wooden door. Returning her attention to the desk, she deliberately grabbed the resting pen, and began to hurriedly scratch away at the papers.
[Good Night]
The gleam of the TV illuminated the otherwise dark living room, its light varying in intensity from the moving images. Tiffany sat on the couch, loosely holding the remote in one hand, and her other hand resting against the armrest. The silent hum was the only sound heard as she tried to keep the volume as low as possible to prevent waking up a certain princess.
Her ears perked at the sound of the creaking floor. Tiffany titled her head around to see Jessica standing in the middle of the bedroom doorway, dressed in a short nightgown with tussled hair.
“I’m sorry Jessi, did the TV wake you up?” Tiffany questioned quietly.
“Are you coming to bed?” Jessica croaked, lazily rubbing her eyes as she yawned.
“I’m not tired; I think I’ll watch a movie before going to bed. Go back to sleep baby.”
Tiffany returned her attention to the TV, honing her ears to hear the sound of the bedroom door close. However, she heard the floor creak more, and felt the couch bounce a little as Jessica plopped herself next to her. She then watched as the older girl’s body laid across the couch, her head burrowed on her lap. Tiffany grinned, delicately placing a hand on her head.
“Jessi, you won’t sleep well here. Go sleep in the bedroom.”
However, the girl’s body did not budge. Sighing, Tiffany reached for a folded blanket on the coffee table and hastily spread it across Jessica’s body. Once assured that she was tucked in, Tiffany maneuvered the remote to play the movie she had wanted to watch.
Hours passed, and the TV’s screen finally turned off, leaving the room to fall into darkness. Tiffany yawned as she placed the remote onto the coffee table. She looked at the analog clock hanging on the wall, reading it to be around 2 AM. She almost made the motion to stand, but then remembered the weight on her lap. Looking down, she saw Jessica’s serene face, watching as the blanket fell and rose gently from peaceful breaths. Tiffany warmly smiled, tracing a delicate heart on her cheek.
For that night, she slept sitting up.

Sorry if this is too cheesy, my writing abilities seem to have deteriotated after writing the crappy mess that was the oneshot I wrote for the contest. But omg, I just had to write this when I found a tumblr blog called
imagineyourotp There were so many cute plots, I just had to use some of them.
warning: selfish promoting SPEAKING OF TUMBLR. So like two months ago, I got a tumblr because I was getting tired of tumblr stalking, but I didn't think I was going to actually reblog anything and I was trying to keep my blog a secret for some time. However, now that's changed, so if people really care for my tumblr, it's
miniminja. (heed my warning, I don't only reblog SNSD, so if someone dares to follow me, you better be flexible.) Also, if you either comment below or pm me (if you don't want to publicly share your tumblr), I may consider following you. :D
