In Memory of Opal
I want to write about my weekend while it's early and quiet. I'm not sure if there's a division meeting or not but it's really really quiet.
Let's see, Friday night I don't think anything significant happened. Saturday I got my eyebrows waxed with Steph, finally! They were looking so terrible! Saturday was also very, ver sad because Jeremiah and I were coming home from the bank in the morning and we saw Opal lying on the side of the road, she had been hit by a car. Of all the wonderful, adorable, friendly cats! She was such a great cat!! So after eyebrows Steph ncame to help me move her, but it turned out another neighbor already had, but he gave her back to us and Steph and I put her behind a mound. Jeremiah decided he wanted to take her to the Gorge and bury her because it's so beautiful there, so that's what we did yesterday morning. Poor Opal. :( It was really sad when Jr. smelled Opal and knew she was dead, her face was so shocked looking!
Saturday night Steph came over and watched SNL, it's great to have a living room now!
Oh, also! This weekend Cat and Tasha were in town so we all met up for dinner at Salvador Molly's. It was DELICIOUS!!!! Much better than I remember it being! It was nice to see them again, although I felt we couldn't talk much because Cat;s boyfriend was there. He was really nice though, but we couldn't really do girly talk. I felt so bad because the waiter ran his card and I didn't have any cash to pay him back so I ended up writing him a check!
Last night I went to my first Usana/Reset meeting, whatever it's called. All the people there were nice. I'm doing my "cleanse" this week. Luckily the parents already bought me some stuff since Moggy didn't bring my starter kit yesterday. She was really nice, too, she hugged me! Lol.
I've on ly had one shake but I do feel really filled up! I hope this week goes well! I fell kind of weird being back at work right now, I'm not sure why. Maybe just because I did so much this weekend! It feels like I haven't been here in a long time! Woo hoo and this upcoming weekend is a 3-day weekend!!
