Day Seven: Things that made me happy today

So many things made me happy today! And I'm thrilled to the bone with all of it!
The first thing happened in the middle of the night - past midnight, so it was technically today. And I was so happy, I went to bed with the biggest grin on my face. I have roslinforever to thank for it. :D
This morning, after volleyball training, lilweebabysis gave me a bag of chocolates! And it's no secret that I love my chocolates. So that put me in a good mood for the rest of the morning. :)
I got to talk to propernice on MSN too, before she had to go to bed. :D
Then art class was also awesome today.
Because my teacher told me; "Even I can't do it like you do," when she watched me.
That was really awesome. Really, really awesome. And my brother was bearable; he didn't fall into an epic sulk as he usually does. In fact, I think he quite enjoyed himself. And I'm very nearly done with the painting!
Just some touch ups, and the feathers in her hair. The hair did not take as long as I thought it would. I spent hours on her eyes, but the hair took me about twenty minutes! :) I scanned the painting in high resolution this time, and it's a really, really large file which Photobucket will not accept. So I scaled it down. This will have to do.

I have no idea who the painting is of. I mean, it was in Mrs Janne's "Portraits" folder and I thought she had the old Hollywood glamour look which I really like. I'm pleased with how it's turning out.
And then, I changed my layout and I struggled with the awful CSS coding for a while. I had no idea what I was doing half the time, but I managed to get things the way I liked after various attempts. :) It's a really simple layout, but I think it looks very classy. It works without a header, so I'm in no rush to make one. I do have a fancy header in mind for this journal, however. From a period film of some sort. Preferably with Miranda Richardson (because she's so awesome in period) and Meryl because she's Meryl. Simple layout + Meryl + Miranda = ♥ :D

And my mom bought Portuguese-style egg tarts too! Yeah, today was definitely a wonderful day. :D
