First of all, multicolour made my day by doing this for me as a Christmas gift. No words can describe the magnitude of happiness I felt. You have no idea how happy you have made me. I love you. I've always loved colours. Colours around me, colours in pictures, colours in film... And so, I created a COLOURlovers account with theyplaycreole's encouragement and started playing around with colours. Of course, I couldn't resist and created a palette right away, inspired by no other than this scene of Meryl in Out of Africa. Now, who was surprised by that? :P
This palette is inspired by a scene in the beginning of the movie, Out of Africa before Karen travels to Africa. The colours of the Danish snowy landscapes inspire the cool colours while the pink hues are inspired by the lovely shade of Karen's (or rather, Meryl Streep's) cheeks and lips which are brought out magnificently by the backdrop.
