Glenn Close; period films ♥
I've been on a Glenn Close spree since a few days ago and have dug up all my old DVD's to rewatch. I learned a few things that I've never noticed before.
There are elements of incest in the film, Hamlet, for one. The only time I saw it was when I was thirteen, or so, and didn't really pick up on the fact that Mel Gibson and Glenn Close were kissing and that they were mother and son. I also learned that Glenn is drop-dead gorgeous in Dangerous Liaisons and couldn't really care less for Michelle Pfeiffer or young Uma Thurman. And I watched all three films in the Sarah, Plain and Tall trilogy in a day.
I decided that all the Glenn Close love has got to be channeled in the way I know best. Picspam. :D I was working on it this afternoon, and I've finally completed it. It's divided into five segments; Dangerous Liaisons, Hamlet, Sarah, Plain and Tall, Skylark and The Lion in Winter. It's a huge picspam, very image heavy. Glenn Close does look gorgeous is period costume so I indulged and included many, many screencaps. ♥ Enjoy! :)
