The Leader Can't Lead! Help!
There's this one day training camp for the Girl Guides in my school and we're being separated into groups with appointed leaders and so on. And guess what? The leader went home early during the meeting, and the second in command was hopeless. The leader's a very nice girl (one year older than me) and I kind of know her. But the second in command is in my Form but in a different class altogether.
First thing they were supposed to do was take down notes for things that they have to prepare and stuff. The Unit Leader was dictating notes and the leaders were supposed to take it down. Mine was gone so the responsibility fell to the assistant. As it turned out, she doesn't know what she's doing. She was sitting so quietly and NOT taking notes and then I suggested to her that we should take SOME notes as we would be clueless if we didn't. And I have only one girl from my glass. We had to ask the older girls and begged them so that we could be in the same group together. Thank you Sheema! For coming to my group! *bakes chocolate chip cookies for you*
Anyway, this girl, she was surprised when I told her that she was supposed to take notes and she told me that she didn't know she was supposed to do that AFTER they announced it! And sad to say, they elected her randomly. The seniors. They don't even know who this girl is and they elected her. She can't do anything! Our group is going to lose in the camp. We're really really going to lose. They stuck us with a group that can't get anything done. She can't lead and she couldn't make decisions. Dear God, please please please don't let us lose so terribly and let us die of humiliation. I really really hope that this person bucks up and is able to lead us better. How can a leader be not able to lead? The irony of it... *laughs*
What's worse, all my friends are giving me their condolences! It's as though someone died! Did someone die? It's as though I'm doomed! What am I talking about? Of course I'm doomed. I'm stuck with a 'leader' who can't even come up with a group name! HELP!
How could this have happened?! School is starting to suck... And I used to like school so much! It's not fair!
Have you ever had a teacher who was biased? She listens to rumours of people that she likes (girls that suck up to her) and she bases her opinions on these rumours without investigating. I really cannot stand this teacher. And she's racist as well. A racist teacher? What kind of teacher is that? She takes the side of students that are of her own race. And my country is supposed to be a multiracial country. Now, all I want is nothing more than to get out of school. I have always loved school and now, all I want is to get out of there. I can't help it. Some friends aren't even real friends and I've learned it the hard way. And now, the teachers aren't even the kind, nice and wonderful teachers that we all would like and prefer. It really doesn't help to have a teacher like that. And how some people can believe lies. Have they no sense to believe the truth?
