Oh, for the love of Pishe: BBC News Ticker: Sir Menzies Campbell's role as Lib Dem leader "under discussion", his deputy says.

But Mr Cable said he did not think Sir Menzies' job was under threat despite some in the party urging him to go.
He urged the party not to panic over recent poor opinion polls in what was currently an "extremely febrile and volatile" political environment.
Mr Cable said he thought Sir Menzies would reflect on the position and "probably" would want to stay in post.
Gah, and grrr. Instability - just what we need. If it happens, it needs to be swift, voluntary, and painless. It might even allow the new leader to bring back Charlie into the shadow Cabinet. But grrr, and gah.
Although in other news, I found this amusing. Doesn't matter which party it's about, I think a judge could have said it about any.
