... and their stupid operators.
I don't suppose anyone knows what I might have done to my Ubuntu Linux box that's preventing it doing networky things? On boot, it complaints about being unable to create or write (I can't remember which, it scrolled past at high speed) /var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf because of a read-only file-system, and that then seems to screw everything else initialising.
Recent things I've done:
- updated a whole load of packages moving from earlier versions of Ubuntu to a recent one
- had the computer crash when I knocked it while trying to move it around on my desk.
Either of which could have upset something I guess, but I don't know what, or why.
