Day 20 - Favorite romance book
Dangerous territory. Romance as in harlequin or Romance as in from the Romantic era of the 19th c. or Romance as in anything with a strong narrative based around a relationship?
Harlequin: Anita Blake Series by Laurell K. Hamilton
19th century: The Poetry of John Keats. Not technically a novel, but it is Romantic in many senses. And I adore Keats. La Belle Dame Sans Merci hath thee in thrall!… and that is why I sojourn here, alone and palely loitering, though the sedge has withered from the lake, and no birds sing.
Relationship: I really love the relationships between people who walk this plane of existence and those who walk within another plane of existence as showcased in the works of Charles De Lint. Particularly lovely and interesting to me was Forests of the Heart.
Other news: I'm feeling a little better, the fever's gone. But my muscles still ache and I've got a pretty generally nasty head cold. The worst part? Every time I sneeze or blow my nose, I get a nosebleed and I'm holding my head up and stuffing my nose with kleenex for 10 minutes. Geezum. I'm running out of kleenex.
