So, remember all the way back to late last night, and my rant about my super special sketchbook? Found the link for the woman who made it and her website, and even found the very same kind of book I have. (The link goes to my specific kind of book rather than the homepage. Though I have to mention now that my book is considerably lighter brown than the examples she has up.) It was only after browsing through her items that I looked at the prices! The sketchbook I have costs $150!!! And I can say with certainty that I paid nowhere even CLOSE to that price. I'm thinking I got mine for $40 or just over. I wonder if this was because of the various sales she was having when I met her at the art fair in Jackson Hole, or if she just liked me. Who knows? I think it was three summers ago, actually.
So, I've decided I will post a picture of my scary adventure in painting in my potentially $150 book.
