alright, people. cut out the "poor me, the world is doomed" bullshit.

seriously.

i thought this election was about what issues we believed in. i thought this was about what stance we wanted to take in the global arena, in healthcare, on taxes, on the economy and so forth. i thought this was a debate between republican and democratic ideals, as well as character and leadership.

i didn't realize that by voting for Bush one could be considered "evil, fucking sheep, scammed, ignorant, scared, a puppet, etc. etc.". seems like an awful lot of Kerry supporters are bitter and angry. well instead of attacking attacking attacking everyone, i have a suggestion for the lot of you: why don't you go out there and change the future instead of bitch about the past? it's a case of the sore losers and it makes me sick.

so Kerry lost? so what? you're just going to give up? was he the answer to all your problems? was life just going to miraculously get better because all of the sudden: you'd have a job waiting for you the next day or plenty of tuition or instant quality healthcare? no, of course not. if any of you were putting all your faith in someone else to solve your problems, you would have been terribly disappointed.

i'm not any happier with how things turned out than any of you, but perhaps for different reasons. i am not happy with a republican president and a vast majority of republicans in congress. i am not happy that will lead to more republican seats in the supreme court. it screws up the system of checks and balances our country was founded on. but i'm not going to bitch. fuck that and fuck you if you're just going to sit there and point fingers and pout. get out there and get active in politics or get more informed. go out and make a difference or help others who don't know the difference. you are in charge of your destiny, not some asshole in a suit in DC.

shape your future. don't resent the past.

go forth and conquer.
