so i was reading atlas shrugged and i'm at the part that ragnar danneskjold shows up and gives henery rearden a bar of gold. as i was reading this particular excerpt i thought to myself, "ragnar reminds me of robin hood, except that he steals from the poor and gives to the rich." i swear not 10 seconds after i pondered that to myself he said, speaking to rearden
"But i've chosen a special mission of my own. i'm after a man whom i want to destroy. he died many centuries ago, but until the last trace of him is wiped off men's minds, we will not have a decent world to live in."
"what man?"
"robin hood. he is the man who robs from the rich and gave to the poor. wel i'm the man who robs the poor and gives to the rich...."
i've been laughing about it since...
