A prayer about vomit
Please god let me never become the kind of parent who doesn't understand why other people might not want baby puke on their furniture. Even if I get used to the puke on my clothes, furniture, floor, and bedding, let me never forget that other people might really really really appreciate a burp cloth, blanket, whatever to keep baby's milky vomit off them and their possessions. No matter how adorable my child might be, let me remember the puke won't be so cute.
