Well, I didn't get quite the internet access that I planned, but after 68 hours with only 1.5 hours of sleep, 6 planes, 18 hours of flying, 7.5 hours of layovers and touching soil in 7 states...I'm finally home, with Ehren. I've slept some and chased the dogs after they got out of the yard, gotten Ehren enrolled in school for Monday, have lists of what both the kids need for school/life out of this paycheck and figured a way to repair our budget from the spending of $1300 on plane tickets in less than 7 days. I've been productive and running on empty mostly but we're on our way to getting things back to the "new" normal.

This weekend will be more work on Katie's room. I would love to get the last coat of mud on there tomorrow night, sanded Saturday night and paint all day Sunday. This way, we can get her furniture into her room and she'll be done for a little until we can get the molding and the carpeting. After that, it's going through all my books to declutter the livingroom more then starting to work on Ehren's room which includes getting a bed and armoire for him, tearing down the paneling and repeating the exact same thing we did with Katie's room. We didn't even plan on tackling the upstairs until we had the downstairs was done, but life throws curves and we've got to move with it. But hey, it'll be 2 more rooms done.

Tonight is grocery shopping and cleaning the house. One day I'll sleep again, really I will. Maybe in a couple of days I'll post about the whole thing that's been going on with Ehren at least for posterity's sake.
