Gorgeous weekend yet again!
So, upper 60's, sunny and with just a little sprinkle last night for about 5 minutes. Beautiful, simply beautiful. Yes, I will eventually stop posting about the weather, but I don't think that'll be any time soon :P
We had a couple of people from work over last night for an impromptu barbecue & bonfire. It was the first of the season and definitely not the last. One of the people that was over might be able to trade us quite a bit of grading work on the ground for all the freaking gravel we've got. I like trading.
For everyone who's met my dog Bacchus, you will completely flip on this:
Last night, when each set of people got here, Mike held Karma and Bacchus by their collars until the people were actually in the door. Once he let go, Bacchus only tried to jump once...ONCE...seriously only FREAKING ONCE on each set...not a hundred times! Oh my god! Mike might be right yet that once he's calmed down he'll make a great dog! Holy crap! ONLY ONCE!!!!!!!!! He might actually make it to see 2 years old!
Our house blog got a mention in the Albany Democrat Herald and the Corvallis Gazette Times today as one of the interesting local blogs to read. Nifty!
Now off to continue to nurse a sinus-migraine that I've had almost all day......
