i am still looking for that girl. that girl who doesn't run me through the ringer, but still makes me work for affection. the one who listens to me at night when I am tired and worn out, but still has enough energy to pick at me and make me smile.

i am still looking for that girl. that girl who appreaciates the small things and looks forward to surprises, but doesn't expect them. the one to whom I look at and say, "You are the reason I get up for".

I am still looking for that girl. that girl who loves me for who I am, but also for who I can become. the one who lovingly pushes me, simultaneously bringing out the best in both of us.
