I spent a bunch of hours tonight pruning my mp3 collection. It was ballooning to something nearing 3000 songs, and a lot of it was really starting to grind on me. Lots of old hardcore punk/metal that I've kind of grown out of, lots of really bad 80s music, or more recent 80s revival stuff, that I'm not sure why I ever downloaded in the first place. Lots of funk and dancehall went out, because I'm never really in the mood for either of those. Lots of crappy ambient indie random shit. Basically, I got rid of a lot of the stuff that pops up when I leave it on random play and makes me scowl and fastforward. Here's the new list, hovering in right under 2500 songs.

I'm also slowly developing a Yahoo Euchre addiction. I've been playing almost every day, and like with most games, after I play them long enough, I'm decoding it down to a fine science. Matt always wants to play with me, but he pulls off the most stupid shit in the world and drives me up the wall. Still, I won five in a row tonight, pretty soon my rating will be high enough that I'll be able to get games in the more competitive rooms.

I start job training Monday, if all my work docs that my dad mailed don't get here before then I'm going to flip out. He mailed them because he didn't want to drive them over, and he said they should get here the day of my training. Which leads me to believe that they aren't going to get here. We'll see. The actual training I'm really not worried about. It's just the part where I have to prove via document that I'm not an illegal alien that sort of grinds on me.
