They would not have given it, Majesty, even though we have done a noble thing, and we are in love. Our two families were feuding. By marrying, with the consent of our Church, we will stop the feud. It cannot continue if the houses are joined.
I can only hope, Majesty. God has blessed the union, at least, so I do not fear in that respect.
