[The view shows a sparse but freshly scrubbed room and a smiling Juliet.]
This home may be small, but I am well satisfied with it at the moment. I need to become better at the various ways of cleaning efficiently. I am unused to such things. But my limited skills have made a vast improvement upon this place, have they not?
[She brushes down

[She's done quite a bit of scavenging these past few days and more likely than not, there's something like that laying around the house that she forgot about.]
...I do have something to be mended in return, however.
[She holds up a black bundle, her slayer's suit - she's wearing her civilian clothing right now, which escaped wear and tear in the Death Eater incident.]

I would be happy to exchange my skills for the favor of a needle and thread.

Thank you. I've found the supplies; is now a good time?
[Because, you know, she's got nothing else to do.]

I will tell my cousin you are paying a visit. We live [x,y]. Whom shall I say is calling, miss?

You and your cousin are?
Reply
[She gives a curtsy to the camera.] I am Juliet Capulet, and my cousin is Tybalt. [Almost no hesitation between her name and surname this time; she's getting better at this.]

It's nice to meet you too, Juliet-sama. [If there wasn't a cousin to differentiate from, it would be Capulet-san, so she adds the extra respect to Juliet's first name to make up for the informality. After all, this girl seems like some sort of nobility.]
I'll be arriving soon.
[And it's true; it's not long before Sango arrives, knocking at the door firmly but not invasively, the black bundle tucked under her arm with the needle and thread wrapped safely inside.]

[After a quick word with Tybalt, the two wait for their visitor. He opens the door and gives her a bow before slipping out. Juliet is grateful for that. Having her cousin lurking about might make the other girl uncomfortable.]
It is a pleasure to meet you in person, Sango. Please, come in.
[OOC: Got permission from Tybalt's mun for the teensy bit of god-modding here.]

And you as well -- thank you.
Oh, and -sama is a suffix from my world that is roughly equivalent to the prefix "Lady" as I've heard it.

I am sorry we do not have refreshment as we are used to providing at home in Verona, but we do have a pitcher of fresh water, if you would like something to drink.
Ah. Please, do not feel the need to use such a title with me. Here, I am simply Juliet.

As you wish, Juliet. [She has to physically stop herself from adding a suffix.] But is it correct to say that you were a Lady?
Reply
My family is one of the noble families of Verona, but we are not so high as the Prince and his kin. My mother is called Lady Capulet. I will be properly called a lady when - when I am married. [She manages to stop herself before mentioning Romeo.]

I see.
[She drains the cup and puts it down in favor of bringing the black bundle to her front. She carefully unfolds it, rips evident, revealing a needle and two spools of thread.]
It's not much, but in a place like this, one must make do.

That is well-said. Wherever one is, one must make do. What sort of mending does your clothing need?
Reply
Sango blushes a little herself, realizing how ill-kept the clothing seems and how strange a garment it must seem to Juliet.]
I'm afraid it's not quite a small project... it might actually be irreparable. But I would be willing to go find more thread if you need it.

If my cousin came home in clothing this torn, I would marvel that he was still alive.
[She reaches out to touch the material, fingering the torn edges on the torso.]
Have you any other fabric of this kind? Pieces of this garment may need replacing, else it will fit too snugly once all the tears have been mended.
