[Tybalt looks like he hasn't slept in days, which is mostly true. Between comforting his cousin and the emotional storm that always causes, worrying about Bubbles, and just the general stress of being cooped up inside, sleep has been elusive. Right now he's pacing restlessly.]

It's been a week now. Is it over?

[Juliet wanders the house until she finds her cousin. She's still keeping hold of Octi, and she looks like she's had as little sleep as he has.]

We will know soon enough, cos. And then we shall go to the clinic, collect Bubbles, and go home.

[She rests her head on his arm, letting her eyes fall shut for a moment.]

[He pulls away slightly and shakes his head.]

I'm going to go out and check. You stay here.

[She's a bit surprised at being dismissed so easily. And annoyed. This isn't like Tybalt at all.]

Don't go, cos! What if it isn't safe, and something should happen to you?

I'm not going alone.

[He gives her a smile and squeezes her shoulder]

I'm just tired of being inside cos. It's been a week, so hopefully it's over.

[That makes her feel a little better. That, and the smile and familial touch on her shoulder. She smiles in return, although the worry remains in her eyes.]

I know you are. I am as well. Be safe, Tybalt. Please.

[She flings her arms around him for a quick hug before releasing him to go and scout the area.]

I will. I would not wish to leave my dear cousin without a protector in this place.

[That brings to mind his status at home, and she shivers.]

Do not do that, ever. You are not allowed to leave me like that. I could not bear it -

[She breaks off before the word 'again' slips from her mouth. Instead, she clutches his arm, ducking her head against it. The idea of him dying here, again, is one of the few things that fills her with complete fear.]

[He assumes her reaction is girlish overemotionality. Thus, have soothing noises and some hair petting]

I have no intention of doing so. Now I do not wish to keep Lord Duroc waiting.

[The soothing noises and hair petting help to calm her. As does the knowledge of who is accompanying him.]

Lord Duroc? No, no do not keep him waiting. He has been so kind to us, Tybalt. We owe both him and his wife a great deal for helping us over these last few days.

[She squeezes his arm, then steps back so that he may take his leave.]
