I understand the DIXIE CHICKS (NATALIE MAINES being their mouthpiece) are trying to distance themselves from the people that helped put some nice dough in their bank account. By insulting REBA and TOBY KEITH fans (I am not one of them but you've got to respect everybody's music tastes, right ?), they are trying to dig a "forget-us" hole. By saying that they do not understand patriotism, they may be throwing the dirt over that hole. I respect the fact that they have their own opinions (after all everybody has their own) but there is a line between expressing yourself and wanting to offend some of the people that brought you to the very place you are now.
