This past week
I want to apologize for not really posting anything in awhile. This past week started out sad but ended on a great note. Well for those of you that live in Arizona probably have heard about the 18 year old boy Saulo Morris that had Leukemia and about a year and a half ago became like a younger brother to Diamondbacks outfielder Eric Byrnes. Eric Byrnes had him on his show "The Eric Byrnes Show". About a couple of months ago they found out that Saulo needed a Bone Marrow Transplant. He had been in the hospital since October 20th and about November 15th, his high school held a bone marrow drive to find a match for him to be a donor. There were about 830 people were tested and me, April, my friend Nicole and her mom were tested along with Eric Byrnes and his wife, and the FSN crew. Out of 830 of them that were tested, there were two matches. They said that it was like finding a needle out of a haystack. Saulo was about a week or two away of getting that transplant but it won't happen because on Tuesday morning, he passed away.
Then the rest of the week went well. This weekend was the best weekend of all. On Saturday afternoon, April and I went to the Tempe Arts fest and we met one of the DJ's from the country station KMLE Jeff West. He is really cool. We walked around and looked at the neat stuff they had. Alot of it was expensive. Then after that, we left to go pick up Julie. Before we met up with Julie, we went to Walgreens to find silver sharpies but we didn't find them and then we went to Taco Bell right next to Julie's and we met up with Julie there. We had something to eat and then we left from there and headed to Fort McDowell Casino for the Davey Jones concert. He put on a great show. For being 62 years old, he still looks great. Then April and I took Julie home and then April took me home. Then today me, April and Nicole made bracelets for this charity for autism. We ended up making 74 bracelets. We had some pasta from Pizza Hut (really good pasta) and bread sticks and I made a salad.
Overall I had a great weekend. I might end up going to bed early. I am tired.
