I had a great weekend considering that the Dbacks lost yesterday. On Saturday I went over to Maryvale ballpark to see Chris Capuano. When I got there, he was already there. I was hoping to get there before he did. I went over to Wendys to get something to eat and then come back. I came back and waited for Chris. He came out and drove over to where I was and I got to talk to him. I told him congrats on his engagement and he was telling me that he is getting married on November 29th. He signed four things for me (two for me and two for a couple of friends). I told him that I was going to go to the Dbacks game and he told me that he was probably going to see Batman. He told me that he was going to watch the Dbacks game and watch for me. Then I headed on over to the Dbacks ballpark. I didn't get anyone on the way in. I waited for April and we got to get in early with a season ticket holder. We got our bobblehead dolls. We went inside and the autographs I got were Bob Melvin (on the bobblehead doll), Chad Tracy, and Augie Ojeda. April and I got our picture with Todd Walsh. Then April and I met up with our friend Dodger Rob and got to meet his sweet mom. Also we met up with Dodger Rob's friend Andrew. We got to see Mark Sweeney and he waved hi to us. The only Dodger player's autograph I got was Andy LaRoche. Then we went to our seats. We had great seats. We were in section 102 (near the pool). The Dbacks won that game. After the game we only got one autograph. We got Emilo Bonafacio of the Dbacks. Then April took me home.
On Sunday I got to the park early and I got a few autographs. I got Conor Jackson, Daron Sutton, Justin Upton and Doug Davis. I could have gotten Randy Johnson if I wanted to but I didn't. Then I met up with April around the other side. We went in and went by the dug out. The dbacks were having their family day (the players with their wives, girlfriends or fiance's and also kids). Some of the players had their dogs (Dan and Jessica Haren had their baby and also pug, Doug Davis and his fiance brought their dogs (I forgot the name of the dog) and Miguel Montero and his wife brought their dog. I got Bryan Price's autograph. Then we went to go make our signs. I made one that read "Romero is my Romeo" (for Alex Romero-my new crush), and one for Mark Reynolds "Mark is the one sherriff I like". I also made a sign that read "Blake can Dewitt" (that is for Blake Dewitt). We went to the Team shop and April and I met Mark Reynolds mom and grandmother. They are really sweet ladies. April found a couple of keychains that she got. We went to our seats (first row right behind the Dbacks bullpen). We were watching the game and then I went to go walk around to visit a couple of other friends. Then I came back and I held up my signs. My friend Lisa's husband called her and said that Mark Grace and Daron Sutton were saying on tv that fans need to bring more signs to the game and also Daron said that they need to be Alex Romero signs. An inning after they said that, I held up my Alex Romero sign and they showed it on tv. They showed Lisa holding up my Mark Reynolds sign, I was holding the Alex Romero sign and April was holding up her Bring Back Salazar sign. Then in the bottom of the 9th inning and Augie Ojeda came up to bat, I held up my Augie, Augie, Augie, OI, OI, OI sign and I got on tv with that. The Dbacks lost 6-5. After the game we went around back and we saw this silver Range Rover leave and we kind of thought it was Orlando Hudson. I said no it can't be. Justin Upton was either in front of it or in behind it and they both came back. When we saw the Range Rover I looked and we found out it was a former Dback Junior Spivey. He came to see his best friend that plays for the Dodgers and that is Matt Kemp. We got to talk to him a little bit. Junior's little boy was taking pictures with Nicole's camera. He took some great pictures considering he is only 3 years old. I got Junior's autograph.
So now I have a new big crush and another one also that was in the bullpen. My crushes names are Alex Romero and Billy Buckner.
Here is a picture of me and Alex Romero that was taken on July 4th.
Sorry this was long
