Well, dammit, it isn't her fault! It was that damn John Denver and his dreamy folk crooning! Had her entire age group under his spell in the 70's.

And cooking has nothing to do with being a hippie! My hero is Long John Silver for a reason... I'll give you a hint, the original title of Treasure Island was The Sea Cook.

glad you liked it, capt! you're the only other alton brown fan that i knew would appreciate the find! and while you're on the oddball website circuit, try www.uncommongoods.com its a little more artseyfartsey sometimes, but where else could you get earrings that look like screwheads? or bowls made of old records?
