I was walking around downtown today to find some accessories for my halloween costume. Walked into a store called "New Deal", they were playing the entire "Figure 8" album by Elliott Smith. A few minutes later, I continued down the street in search of a copy of "This Book is Broken" (Broken Social Scene) and found myself in a store called Logos...of course, the first book I noticed was the book Autumn De Wilde wrote/compiled about Elliott. I sat there and flipped through every page. It's a beautiful book. Then I realized that 2 days ago (6 years ago), Elliott Smith passed away. Wow.
