My life lately has also been filled with emptiness and I have not had any drive to do anything. I am filling my life with positive energy and surrounding myself with positive people and this is helping. Negative people suck away your positive energy. If you are associating with negative people that leave you feeling stressed, or just blah evaluate who you spend your time around and identify the person or persons that are bringing you down and spend less time around those people. Remember that you only need to ask Jesus in your heart to have a relationship. God want you to surrender yourself and not try. As soon as you give in and stop trying to have a relationship with Jesus, but instead read his word and surrender yourself too him you will get what you desire. God wants more than anything to have a vibrant relationship with him. Believe me I have been through it all, I've walked a mile in those shoes and that is what I know.
