my black book
This has been the major project for the last few months. Now that I'm all settled and free, I'm kinda excited to show you guys my work. I guess some of you have seen my works but some not yet. It's on a A5 sketch book. The theme is Black Book because it's a book of our ideas. From this the teachers are able to grade us through our process and the outcome too. Anyway, enjoy (:

Every page is according to a list given by the lecturers.
This page is about using a new word. So i decided to choose DOPE.
I used dark green acrylic paint and white pastel to create that black book feeling. It is about doing a place which you've never been before and would love to one day.

this was very quick. i accidentally 'killed' a fly and there was an activity about creating something new. Lol, I'm not sadistic.
I spent alot of time of this page. It's a heart with Luther Vandross's Dance with my Father lyrics. It is about cherishing people around you and not forgetting the good times and bad times with them. Because when they are gone, you can never turn back time. :'(
I was suppose to do an art piece in relation to a artist work. I choose Andy Warhol's photobooth works and did two pages on that.
This piece is also about friends. I fought with one of my friends and felt bad after that.

I watched 'Thumbsucker' and hoho that's how i got this. It was suppose to be a newspaper article but heck it became an interview.
I used thinner and ink transfer using white acrylic paint for the background image.
