Came back from Burning Man a week ago. It is only now that I feel not totally exhausted from the experience. I am still decompressing but can feel better able to fully function. Being in the dessert for a week, going on a few hours of sleep everyday, being amazed by art, interacting with people in different and profound levels; it may be awhile still my experience becomes fully integrated. I had heard many stories about Burning Man. I had a unique experience, which I'm sure everyone does. Some of my expectations were never met, however, some things surprised me and gone past my expectations. In a nutshell, I really believe in the concepts and principals that Burning Man aspires. The belief in service in building a community. Self expression and acceptance. Existing in a space for a limited time and then leaving no trace behind. The one regret I have is that I didn't take many pictures. So I leave you with this video that a friend sent me. So far it is the best video that chronicles a groups of friends' experience of Burning Man. Enjoy.
