Walking through the hallways of the futuristic hospital was giving both the Doctor and Rose flashbacks from their time being here, although he made sure to come much earlier in the timeline before, well, everything happened

"It'll be okay though, right? I mean, you're the Doctor, you can talk and charm your way out of anything..." Even if he did leg it from them on their last encounter and they currently thought he was responsible for ripping holes in time.
"Maybe they can do sommat about these Shadow Hunters. I mean, there must be some Galactic Legislation or something that says you can't go around terrorising planets right?"
He rubs his eyes as he sits on the edge of the jump seat, arms crossed. "They sort of work... hand-in-hand. The Hunters wait and watch to see who the Proclamation is after and targets who slip through the cracks after they're unable to get them. That's why they've been chasing us more than the Proclamation."
But he had a feeling the Shadow Hunters weren't telling the Proclamation of their capture of the metacrisis. He really hoped all this would work out.
"So they know about the reject Power Rangers and don't do anything about it? They let those space bullies get away with everything? I thought the Shadow Proclamation was there to protect people..." Donna frowned. "Maybe going to them for help isn't such a good idea after all..."
But who else could they turn to? They couldn't do this alone. It was just too much for three people to deal with.
He shrugged. "My guess is they do know about them and what they're doing, but since they work together sometimes, they don't want to ruin the relationship." The Doctor leaned back in the seat, "They know the Hunters could potentially end the Proclamation, given their weapons and technology. It wouldn't be hard to do."
"Isn't there anyone else we can turn to? Like, I dunno, space pirates or great big outer space bodyguards or sommat?" They may not be the best ideas in the world, but hey, at least she was trying, right? Never know... there may be an intergalactic rent-a-guard around the corner - not very likely, but not impossible...
He absently scratched at the skin under his ear. "There used to be others out there that I'd be able to contact and of course there's other races out there that have the means and technology to do exactly what the Hunters do, but we'd really be pushing the waters. The Shadow Hunters are a force not to be reckoned with. It's like the Daleks, their power is well known and it'd be stupid to try and go against them."
He knew all too well about that scenario, and at least the Shadow Hunters were fantastic about staying in the shadows, the background, that he wasn't ready to be guns-ablazing.
"So we're doomed then? We don't know if we can trust the Shadow Proclamation and there's no one else we can turn to. What can we do but keep running and keep hiding until we run out of luck?" Every scenario seemed to have a bleak outcome.
She sighed and shifted to rest her head on the Doctor's shoulder. Everything seemed for hopeless and staying positive was getting harder.
"Not necessarily doomed, no." He was actually feeling slightly positive about it, but was indeed more apprehensive than anything. "We'll just have to see how things go. You need to be careful too, given they're searching for both of us. Rose is probably the safest of us all."
And as if on cue, Rose appeared. "Then should I stay on the TARDIS and wait for your 'signal'?"
Honestly, the Doctor didn't know how to reply to that.
"Is splitting up a good idea?" At least if anything did happen to the Doctor or Donna and Rose was on the TARDIS then Emergency Programme One would take her safely home... Unless the Hunters intercepted the TARDIS and destroyed it...
Donna sighed. She had a splitting headache and this giant hole they were in just seemed to be getting deeper.
"I think we should all just go to the Proclamation, plead our case, and see where it takes us." It was the simplest thing, and possibly what they should've done in the very first place. However, if they had done that, they would've never known the reason behind the holes in time. This way, they could be assets to each other - the Doctor and the Proclamation.
He inhales slowly before ruffling Donna's hair. "You ready for this?" And glances over to Rose, "Ready?"
Easy with the hair, mate! He's just lucky she hadn't spent an hour straightening it or there would've been serious consequences. The fact that Donna seemed to spend a lot of her free time with her hands buried in the Doctor's hair was beside the point.
She sighed and gave a nod. "Ready as I'll ever be."
After some time, after supplying his pockets and preparing with what he believed he might need, he glanced over to both Donna and Rose, each looking just as determined and nervous as ever.
He moved about the console, locked in the coordinates he needed and the whirling of the TARDIS was loud for a moment before the not so gentle "thud" of landing. Not another word was spoken as he took his brown jacket and threw it on and to the door they went.
An inhale, and the very moment the doors were open, they were surrounded by Judoon with their guns aimed at them.
Donna instantly raised her hands. If it wasn't for the fact Rose was with them then she'd be having a serious sense of deja vu right about now. At least she was prepared for giant rhino men with guns this time.
And for once in her life she kept her mouth shut. Best to let the Doctor handle the talking - probably didn't help that Donna couldn't speak Judoon and the TARDIS wasn't translating.
Unfortunately there wasn't much talking to be had. The Doctor was only able to utter out a sentence or two before they had his cheek smashed to the ground and took hold of Rose and Donna as well. He knew they were struggling by the sounds of things, but unfortunately he was unable to see much.
"Don't harm them! They haven't done anything!" The Doctor muttered, teeth gritted throughout it.
And soon he was hoisted up with arms looped under his as they drug him off to what he assumed would probably be a holding cell of some sort. He could only guess.
Lovely. So much for the diplomatic approach. And someone should really teach those rhinomen some manners when it came to manhandling women. Although Donna's protests of 'OI! Hands!' probably didn't help matters.
The next few minutes were a bit of a blur. In fact, Donna wasn't entirely sure she was conscious for the whole time. But she was pretty sure she knew a cell when she saw one. "Oh great! We're in flippin' jail!" She just really hoped the Doctor and Rose were alright. After all, it had been her that forced the Doctor to come here.
They were separated, which only irritated him more, as he straightened out his jacket and brushed some dust off.
"I can hear you." He replied to Donna's inquiry as he made his way to the front of the cell, locked by a door with only a small opening to peek through to the outside. You would think for a space craft, they wouldn't have such old school look to their jail, but, the Doctor vaguely wondered, perhaps they were going for the vintage look. Human inspiration? Although there were plenty of other aliens he had been around that were equally as non-creative.
There wasn't much to look at and a few minutes later he felt relieved he could hear Rose talking softly elsewhere. At least they were alive and relatively safe.
