Zombies
The past two books I have read have been about zombies. I am not talking about the horror type of stories that go into detail about zombies ripping people apart and eating them and such. These books are well written, and well researched. The first was The Zombie Survival Guide. This is a humor book written as if the possibility of zombies attacking was a real threat. This book goes into great detail on how to survive a zombie attack. Although I know there is no such thing, I can't help thinking "damn, if zombies attacked this would work."

The second book is World War Z. It is an oral history of the zombie war. It's written as if there actually was a zombie infestation. And although I know there never was, and never will be a zombie war I can't help being impressed with the research and time the author put into this book.

Both books were written by a man named Max Brooks. This man has clearly put a lot of time and effort into thinking about zombies. This makes me feel a lot better about the fact that I've been dreaming and thinking about zombies all the freakin' time lately. I actually had a dream that the CDC (Center for Disease Control) offered me $80,000 a year to hunt zombies. It was a fun dream, but damn it all to hell I can't stop thinking about what I could do with $80,000 a year when I should be thinking about the fact that I am thinking too much about zombies.

Fucking zombies.

Maybe I worked in retail too long not to believe in zombies. Fucking consumers.
