Changes to Die Vernon...et my first 2008 run...
I took the horrendous orange reflectors (see my last post) off the front fender (I have a totally different type of white reflector that is all but invisible in the daytime due in any day from a company in New England), and I put the passenger foot peg assemblies back on. I had taken them off prior to my first batch of pics, but have since decided that I like the look a little better w/ them on. The remounted brackets are just in front of the mufflers (cans) and the pegs are to be seen just below the cans (actually sorta hard to see as the long v-shaped brackets are black). BTW, the two Triumph shoulder screws that I needed to replace the reflector screws were $22.87. Yes, I said over $22 f/ two rather small screws. Now I know why they call them that!
I also (well actually, LL took the pics) took pics of the seat w/ the seat spoiler on (covering the passenger portion of the seat) and w/ it off . Wish I could have ridden this weekend, but Burr Oak is still a snow/slush/ice/mud nightmare.
2/3/08 - 5 mi., 44*F, (2 mi of snow & ice), was colder than I thought due to the wind and I got caught in a small bit of sleet w/out a shirt on my return - LL only did 3 mi., and thus missed out on the sleet; she has been using the elliptical that I got her f/ Christmas, but this was my first run since the 1/2 M that we did on Nov. 11. After not running f/ some 80 days I had planned to only run 1 or 2 miles, but 5 just has a nicer ring to it don't you think - lol. Okay, I admit to being stupid - there, happy now?
