I just saw that my last entry indicated that I'd be home in early september. How cute. Well, it's early september and guess if I'm still at SHAFT. I was all packed up and was actually yanked from a flight yesterday, 30 mins before the plane landed. I even got to hear it come in as I walked back to the FOB. Now I'm just waiting for some news that we can move again. Apparently this all happened on the whims of an ARMY colonel who thought herat was taking in too many personel. Ah well, I get to sleep in a bit now and I should already be used to this waiting game by now. ;) The new target date for getting home should be around the 22nd of september. Let's see how that one works. haha
