I enjoy having someone who is the same as me. Gracias para una buena noche. Era mucho divertido , como se dice "hanging out", contigo.
I've begun reading The Little Prince, in english and french. I'm hoping to acquire the language quicker by reading it. I went by my teacher's office and talked to her about class participation and how I was nervous and afraid to participate because I didn't know the correct pronunciation. She soothed any fears I had about class participation; she told me that so far my grade is fine and that lately I've been participating more. She also recommended ways to improve my french, such as going downtown to the Globe and coming to class prepared with something to say in french so that I don't have the panic attacks that I do when I'm not confident in what I'm saying. Elle est magnifique. Then in the middle of our little chat, the tornado drill went off and we were all ushered into the basement of Gilbert, where we continued our conversation about french things plus more. Overall, I think I made a great impression on her and my desire to actually learn the language and (hopefully) it will help my grade. Not that it's bad; in fact I'm actually being a "freakout francis" worrying about it because I haven't failed a thing yet.Just to be on the safe side, though.
I will say that having multiple languages swirling around in one's head can get quite confounding. All this learning of the french is starting to disrupt my english: grammar, pronunciation and spelling ( side note: I had to go through french and spanish to think of the word for spelling).
I think I'm bi-polar. Mais c'est bien. Though instead of the incessant need to talk I have the incessant need to write.
