Ahh, so many things to talk about… so little patience!
So. Guess who might not get to play at State, Westerns, Amherst Invite, or YCC tryouts, not to mention all other sports events for the next few months? That’s right. Me. Because I am injured. Again. This time it’s my back. There are a few things that could be wrong with it, ranging from nice-n-simple (back muscles stressed in some way) to nasty-n-bad (fractured vertebra, slipped/inflamed/unhappy disk). We’ll see how it goes. When I get to play may depend on how soon I see a specialist which, according to Lisa Neimann, may take as long as, say… 3 months. Oh well. Not the end of the world… just pretty damn sucky. :(
In happier news, this programming class? EASY. This programming assignment, supposed to take many days? ALMOST DONE (worked on for ~1.5 hrs). Basically, I rock the geek world. I am so my father’s daughter, it’s amazing.
To add to the geekyness, I helped my dad build our newest computer. Its name on our network is Geek2400, and the name is apt. Blue LED’s all over, black box, clear Plexiglas panel, digital readout of internal temperature on the front… ahhh, so good. I wish I knew what all actually went inside it, because while I did help put it together, I totally forgot what it all was… Oh well. Suffice to say, it’s badass. Mmm.
That is all! I’ll update again sometime. Maybe I’ll have something a little more interesting to say.
P.S. Takahashi RAWKS. He kept me company at work. :)
