Setting aside the issues of maintaining a reasonable population, I wonder if the people who say things like "let's have a world where there's no men at all, just women and nb people!" think that there won't be any oppressive power structures in this hypothetical world? Sadly, many of them do actually believe that. Minus men, everything will be Happy Womanly Sharing, therefore no class oppression. And everyone will embrace the shining light of racial equality, in a way that looks suspiciously like "White feminists don't do anything that they recognize as obviously horrible, no one complains about the non-obvious horribleness." And colonialism will vanish, conveniently making it unproblematic to have a bunch of white Western women showing up all "Let us tell you which of your traditions are sexist!" And ableism will...I don't think they thought that far out. And transphobia will vanish in the light of telling everyone to abandon gender, but somehow also be women!

Also, I lied, I'm not putting aside the question of population: how do they expect to maintain even a small population when they're having to depend on trans women for it? Because even if some trans women are okay with siring children, not all of them are, and I doubt those that are would be too happy about being needed to maintain a population. Contrary to what Tumblr would have us believe, a lot of use really don't like using our reproductive organs because of associations with gender!

Reproductive technology! Not any specific technology that they know exists and can be used on that level, but since there is reproductive technology, obviously it can make enough babies!
