I screamed, too late, we hit a tree, he died.
I've got an idea for how I want the next stretch of Shark Teens to go, but I'm not quite sure how to wrangle it.
The basic gist is that after Keahi's aunt, who will have a name eventually, looks into and enrolls Keahi in the diving program at the aquarium, Keahi very excitedly suggests that Stasney join too. Stasney, thinking about how tight money is in his family but not wanting to admit it, hems and haws and sorta says that it sounds boring and he's not interested. Very hurt Keahi makes a comment about how "at least fish are real" before storming off and then the boys don't talk to each other for awhile.
Then the program starts up and that's where I introduce Rookie and Jade, Rookie is a main character and Jade exists to be Keahi's first on-screen crush, the two actually become kinda friendly but this annoys Stasney, who also has a crush on Jade. Poor babies, stop fighting over boys that are way too old for you anyway :(
Anyway then comes the class trip to the aquarium and Bosney is picking at Stasney and he takes Stasney's fancy-pants pocket watch that his dad got him (it's a cheapy Wal*Mart watch but it's still fancier than anything else Stas owns) and throws it into the big tank, and Keahi goes after it without thinking and kinda manages to get himself into trouble, but at least it gets the boys talking again.
(Ichabod is actually the one who retrieves the watch, because she knows Keahi's a good swimmer but she's not letting him free dive to the bottom of a three storey tank.)
