Yea so...
I figured I'd write about something, since I'm bored out of my fucking mind. New Year's Eve was pretty damn cool. We all hung out over Dom's before the gig and Dom, Dennis, and I practiced our Pantera set.. (even though we really didn't know how many songs we could fit in or whatever). Then, we headed over to the Rio. Everything was pretty much set up when we got there, we just needed to tune, so we just sat around and chilled for an hour or so before tuning and getting ready to play. We went on around 10:30, and I was kinda nervous, but in an excited way, heheh. Out of the entire 1 and 1/2 hour set, I think I looked at the crowd maybe 3 times, lol. But it was really cool! Everybody was really into the songs we played and everything, and after the set, everybody said we sounded awesome. I was pleased. Then, Morelisedge and House Divided played, and around 1:30, House Divided ended their set, so we had to run up on stage and play our songs as quick as possible, so we got up there, and Dennis said some words for Dimebag, and we started right off with Fucking Hostile, and damn... everybody started freaking out, going nuts, screaming the lyrics. We were all so into it, we just went right into I'm Broken, and I forgot to sing my part of the first verse, lol.. But it was ok, cuz then Dennis didn't sing his part of the second verse, haha. But we had the entire crowd singing it for us, so it was alright. >:) Then, onto Cemetery Gates, which kicked ass, of course... Then, we thought we were done, but we had time for one more. Fuckin Psycho Holiday! Hell yea! Everybody was goin crazy. After the show, we all hung out, and everybody couldn't believe that it was my first real gig ever. But yea, I had a good time. Anyway, I think it's about time I did something today, because I'm seriously bored as fuck.
