Listen lady, you've got first dibs on the JB crush but you can just leave Robert Stephens alone! He's been mine for years!;) The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes I saw at the cinema where I developed said crush and of course he is in Travels With My Aunt with Maggie Smith and the super Alec McCowan too.
Jean Brodie's school was very similar to mine too!

LOL! No crush on Robert Stephens - although I enjoyed his biography 'Knight Errant' immensely. Bought for 1p (plus p&p) via Amazon marketplace. :-)

He's very honest about his life and loves, and despite death at a relatively early age, his story ends on a high. I found it quite uplifting.

I don't know if you're interested, but I've just discovered that The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie is finally being released on DVD in this country. Available for pre-order from Amazon for June delivery. Hurrah! :-)
