Holiday haitus
So I'm still here. Have survived Easter weekend with a full house and am busy being mum for the month while both kids are home for their Easter hols from uni - mostly revising for May exams. There are still little drifts of snow lying in the shadier corners of the garden. Mr T and I congratulate ourselves daily over the insane installation of replacement windows in January because we are really reaping benefits against the prolonged cold easterly winds.
Am managing to disengage my brain from all the extra family cooking and cleaning by writing a fic for a friend's birthday. I rarely have inspiration to write anything, so it's fun to be fiddling around with words again. Even if it amounts to nothing much of consequence in the end, I enjoy the process. And I know friend will appreciate the effort as I do when she sends a story to me.
With filming currently underway for episodes one and two of series 3, I personally can't resist the Sherlock spoilers on Tumblr, but I won't tell what I've gleaned. Search the tag #setlock if you are interested in photos, locations and theories.
Probably going to see the latest Danny Boyle film Trance with daughter tomorrow, because she loves James McAvoy...
Think it looks and sounds very confusing but as it's Orange Wednesday, therefore half price cinema tickets for us, I'm prepared to suffer it. Truly I'm just the transport. :-))
