Whirlwind of activity...
Still here, but been busy tidying up and washing curtains since the window fitters departed two days ago. Just had the phone engineer in to re-route phone wire that used to come in through old front door's wooden frame, plus install BT Infinity. Painter is primed to come second half of next week to prepare and repaint all the high parts of the hallway, stairs and landing which we cannot - or dare not - reach. I'll then paint below the dado rail. Mr T has the job of tidying up and repainting interior window ledges in all other rooms and reinstating curtain rails downstairs where they had to be removed. Luckily all the upstairs ones survived window replacement. Phew! We've never had such a busy January. Or such an expensive one. Well at least that will be the spring cleaning for this year all done extra early. :-)) Would appreciate it if February could be a quieter month...
