Yesterday I blitzed our bedroom which had got into a frightful state, looking more like a college dorm room than an adult's bedroom. LOL. It was a reflection of how I've been feeling lately inasmuch as I've been feeling a bit depressed now and again and not really wanting to do anything when I get home from work. I feel like by completely turning that room around it's given me a bit of inspiration to keep going. It's also been another lean month which gets us down quite a bit but I've found that trolling Pinterest has revealed a plethora of tips and tricks to save money wherever we can. D's books have been selling here and there but certainly nothing that has turned any major profit yet. He's resigned himself now that it may not happen as quickly as he wanted and is looking in earnest for any sort of job just to bring in a little extra money for us.
Last night and today I've replaced most all the curtains in the house which had been in place since we moved in. Scary how quickly the time's gone. I've put up some lovely lace curtains given to us by friends over the years which I've just had in the closet all this time. They look so lovely and let tons more light in also, which makes the rooms seem so much brighter and larger. :)
All in all it's been a lovely break and still quite a few days left to enjoy! Hope you & yours are all well!! ♥
