[It's taken most of the day before Leliana really gets the chance to investigate the new bot of decoration she's suddenly acquired on her finger. And if the stories she's heard when she was little are to be believed, this is a very important investigation indeed! Provided she's not dreaming it all up. (Can't be that, though, she'd be much better dressed if she was.) And the moment she's sure no one is going to miss her, curiosity all too easily gets the best of her and she slips away from camp to follow the string, cutting through the forest and taking the small trail toward the little village beyond.]
[But she still has her bow ready all the same. Curiosity is no reason to forget the threat of bandits or darkspawn, after all.]
