Canadia and the End of the Beginning

Aug 29, 2006 23:29

Right, I know, I know, I know. I haven't written here in awhile and my next may be even longer, or nonexistent. LJ is no longer holds my writing fix to a candle so I think I'm going to look elsewhere.

Regardless I must tell the people about Canadia and my invasion of it. Noah, Christian, and I stormed through Old Montreal for the past four days and it could have been the best vacation I have ever experienced.

One. We tried to think of one, just one, reason why America is better than Canada and nobody could think of ONE. NOT ONE.
The weather is beautiful.
The food is wonderful.
The people are beautiful. And please tell me that French is not the sexiest, coolest language there is because I am a changed, convinced man.
How can Americans hate Canada so much and want to blame them for everything? Canada is amazing! And dare I say it, better than the US? YES, DAMN YES!

Let's see. What did we do:
-Visited the Museum of Contemporary Art and Museum of Architecture, both awesome
-Watched Christian and Noah get drunk on Crescent Street and Christian declare his endless, suicidal love for a girl he met that night.
-Experienced a Candian Student Film Festival and inspired me to either move to Canada or make a movie of my own, quick
-Found five bucks in front of a homeless man sleeping and I took it.
-Learned that Snakes on a Plane in French is Serpents A Bord! HA!
-Spent endless amounts of money on delicious food

Ok. So here is where I end. Maybe I will come back one day. Maybe I'll move on. Either way, goodbye to all, I hope you enjoyed my bloggings.
