So, I ended up getting the flu and being doped up on cold meds and kind of out of it. But I'm here now. And this is so exactly perfect and just what I wanted. I love how Cas is always there and knows exactly what Dean needs. He doesn't push, but he provides what Dean doesn't even know he needs.
"Castiel speaks of salvation and rebirth, of the healing hands that Castiel placed on Dean’s soul and remade him as a labor of his love and filled Dean’s whole being with a light of God and a glory of Heaven. His voice is hushed as he tells Dean the way Castiel made Dean from nothing, from fire and hate and made him a brother and a righteous man. Dean is a creation of Castiel, and Castiel is filled with more hope for Dean than he could imagine.
When he finishes, when the words stop, the angel Castiel cries for Dean Winchester; he cries for his righteous man and the misguiding that came so naturally to all the humans, and Dean does not wipe aside the tears. He kisses Castiel’s hands, the hands that made him whole, and gives back something more than pain to his Light."
This part is just so beautiful. I love that Cas is the one thing that Dean can hold on to, can trust. And as much as Dean doesn't believe in God, he is starting to believe in Castiel. And I love that Dean in his own way can give Cas what he needs too.
Ahhh, thank you :) It's great to hear such nice feedback, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I'm sorry about your flu B T W, and I hope you didn't feel obligated to comment while you were tripped to hell. Once again, thank you so much for the wonderful comment and I'm happy you liked it~
